Custom Foot Orthotics

Plane Tree provides assessment, design and fitting of custom foot orthotics for individuals diagnosed with lower limb pain or other physical dysfunction.  Orthotics are custom-made shoe inserts.  They are specially designed to control improper foot & leg mechanics which contribute to the repeated strain of musculoskeletal tissues.

Faulty Foot Mechanics may begin with any of the following:
   • Headaches
   • Low Back Pain
   • Patello Femoral Pain
   • Tired Aching Feet & Legs
   • Achilles Tendonitis
   • Heel Spurs / Plantar Fasciitis

Orthopedic Shoes

Plane Tree is pleased to introduce a full line of corrective orthopedic shoes designed to suit a variety of lifestyle.  Our extensive line of footwear is designed to offer patients the biomechanical benefit of maximum control, shock absorption, and correction.  The shoes can be adjusted to the individual problems with added forefoot width, firm heel counter, cushioning in the forefoot, extra depth heel, re-enforced tongue with cushioning, adjustable lace, as well as a custom orthotics corrected to fit the patient's neutral position.

Ankle Foot Orthoses (AFO)

Ankle Foot Orthoses AFO's are corrective braces for non operative management of abnormal motion or severe pronation and lateral/medial ankle stabilization.  Some conditions that may benefit from AFO include posterior tibial dysfunction, degenerative arthritis, lateral and medial instability of the subtalar joint, chronic ankle instability, sere pronation problems, sinus tarsi syndrome, and all ankle injuries including severe sprains.
